The subconscious of conscious!!

Life full of events. Some good, some bad, some great and some sad. All these events get hooked to our mind and cling to our behavior. Then gradually our behavior finds a base on such experiences and we transfer our nature, our behavioral pattern accordingly. Whether this is right or wrong holds no meaning at all. As we are aware our past haunts us and we use that past to make the future assumptions. While doing this we forget the present. I always had a question in my mind....where does past reside in our body, in our mind? Well that led me to read lot of books to the related topics and now I can see some answers. Going through such studies helped me join the dots and make a better picture.

We all are aware of two minds that we have. One being conscious and other being subconscious. Superficially conscious mind plays a leading role in our daily activities. It drives the whole show. It is THE boss. Conscious mind captures the on going events, situations, experiences and people around making them in a bundle of pattern which we call it as life. But then later reading got more concepts unfold. The conscious mind is not the boss of life but is just a driver driven by the BIG BOSS. Now who is this big boss?

I will be writing about everything that I have read and would love to share it with you. I would be extremely happy to learn from you all as well about your views about these concepts and experiences. Lets all share our opinions and find solutions for the concerns, happenings in our life.

I am on a trial to re-unite our conscious and subconscious mind which has left apart over the period of time. An effort to live a better life, the one WE desire!

Very interesting discussion Prajacta. I totally agree that just concious mind is not the BOSS. But it is the one who is working when we are concious so it matters a lot . It is the one who is likely to divert us from our goals by getting attracted to all superficial and not so fruitful distractions.
We can feel the inner sound of our soul when we are just getting up early in the morning. I mean that is what my experience says. That is the one who rules.

Prajakta, Swami Chinmayanand has beautifully said this:

Mind is man. As the mind so is the individual. If the mind is disturbed, the individual is disturbed. If the mind is good, the individual is good. This mind, for purposes of our study and understanding, may be considered as constituted of two distinct sides-one facing the world of stimuli that reach it from objects of the world, and the other facing the ‘within’ which reacts to the stimuli received. The outer mind facing the object is called the objective mind-in Sanskrit we call it the Manas-and the inner mind is called the subjective mind-in Sanskrit, the Buddhi.
That individual is whole and healthy in whom the objective and subjective aspects of the mind work in unison with each other, and in moments of doubt, the OBJECTIVE MIND readily comes under the disciplining influence of the SUBJECTIVE MIND. But unfortunately, except for a rare few, the majority of us have minds that are split. This split between the SUBJECTIVE and the OBJECTIVE aspects of our mind is mainly created by the layer of egoistic desires in the individual. The greater the distance between these two phases of the mind, the greater the inner confusion in the individual, and the greater the egoism and low desires which the individual comes to exhibit in life.
Through the five “gateways of knowledge”, the organs of perception, all of us experience the world of objects around us at all moments of our working state. The innumerable stimuli that react with our sense organs (receptors), create impulses which reach the OBJECTIVE mind and these impulses filter deep down to the subjective stratum through the intervening layers of individual ego-centric desires. These impulses, thus reaching the SUBJECTIVE mind of a person, react with the existing impressions of his own past actions that are carefully stored away in the subjective layer and express themselves in the world outside through the five organs of action. (Ears, skin, eyes, tongue, nose which respectively perceive sound, touch, form, taste and smell).

Yes Kaka..got ur comment..was pending for moderation. I have set it that way.

As always so well said. Subjective and Objective minds are the two faces of a man's life. Inner and outer voice are the commands given to man and he behaves accordingly. Only the difference is which voice is more stronger/analytical and commanding.

Sure have lot of material to write on this...stay tuned :D...and ready with insights as always...thank u so much for the comment.

Gone are the days when it was mind over matter, now is the era of soul over matter. We all are bestowed with special set of gifts and skills so as to empower the lives of others. In fact there is no other , we all are one....connected through the subconscious.Any set of challenges we come across help us to climb the ladder of final truth and achieve our life purpose. Its very important to stay committed to the present moment so that right seed thought goes in to the subconscious.

Subconscious voice is always true to your soul. It works like sixth sense. Mind wanders based on the five sense - hearing, seeing, touch, smell and taste. Most of the time what we see, hear and feel makes a great impact on our mind and we are forced to make a opinion which we do not want to change even if our subconscious voice or voice of our soul doesn't agree with our mind.

Praju, you write good! And its a nice topic to deep dive :)
Would love read more!

Subconscious is voice of our soul. We can also refer to it as Sixth sense. Our mind wanders based on the five senses - seeing, hearing, touch, taste and smell. Most of the time what we see, hear and feel makes a great impact on our mind. Our mind then forms an opinion and is never really willing to change this opinion though our subconscious mind or inner voice always warns the mind. It is empowerment of few of our senses over the subconscious voice.

Praju, nice blog and would love to deep dive into it. keep writing!
